EXCUSES DON’T BURN CALORIES

The results you are seeing today is the work you put in 6 month ago. Training will always be hard. But the rewards are oh so sweet. When you stop making excuses, you will start seeing results. The magic you’re looking for, is in the work you’re avoiding.

RECENT EVENTS

Saturday 2 August Barrydale FightClub & Karoo62 hosted a Boxing and Poker Night in Ladismith. This was a charity event that we attended along with Barrydale, Hermanus and Kleinmond Boxing Clubs. The evening was a huge success and along with all of us registering as potential Bone Marrow donors we also had some great results in the ring. Our hard training and dedication was on full display and our fighters got amazing compliments on there fitness and skill levels from fellow Fighters and other Coaching staff in attendance.

A very accomplished fighter and head coach from Kleinmond Boxing Club had his toughest fight to date against our very own Gordon Khumaza. He reported after the fight that Gordon’s great smile had him thinking he was going to have an easy fight... But he received a very hard lesson in that not to ever underestimate someone’s friendliness and good manners for a lack of beast lurking inside of there heart...

Unfortunately nobody had enough courage to fight against Regi and he assisted in judges duty’s for the day.

We had some good results and a few losses but non the less, great experience and lessons were learned.
Some of Life’s hardest lessons we learn only comes when losing or being disappointed in our own performance or the realization that our preparations were not good enough... These are lessons you dont get from winning...
You learn to take this loss as a moment to reflect and work even harder or to make small changes in order to improve. There is always a next time to prove to yourself how great you can and will become.

Never surrender to being average... Never forget where you started... Your time to shine will come. It’s only after we’ve lost everything... That we’re free to do anything!!!

Rasta Manevil (Winner by decision) vs Michael Chauke
